I snuck up to Crescent Head today. Not surprisingly, I wasn't the only one with that idea. With a decent swell from the south and perfect conditions there were a couple of options. Same

Today was pretty much a repeat of yesterday, but with some sun shining. This really is the best time of year for surfing. The water is warm, The sun isn't scorching, and the waves are fun. Grey Skies|Fun Waves

It seems, every time I slip my camera into the housing the clouds come marching in. The waves were fun this morning. Even with a lack of sand, there is quite a nice bank lining up at Breakwall. The water is clean and warm. If you're patient or a decent hassler there is some great surfing to be had at the moment. Yesterday

The swell has dropped a bit over night. The crowd has not. The sun has defied the forecast, and there could be some great waves later today as the tide drops. There wasn't anything too exciting to shoot on my way to work, so here's a few from Yesterday. Share Forward to Friend

Bait

After a few weeks shooting from the shore, I managed to stuff my foot into a shiny new flipper last night and take my camera back in the ocean. As I hit the water some grey clouds arrived from the south, creating some interesting lighting. I did feel a little bit like bait swimming at the river mouth as the sun set, but it wasn't nearly as sketchy as I thought it would be. It's good to be back.
